FAQs

How much does a custom kitchen cost?

  • Cost is reflective on size of the room and details to the layout involved. A professional designer will give you a close cost figure on the first consolation appointment at your house. If the cost figures fit your budget, then we can proceed to an actual cost and a professional layout is drawn. To receive an accurate cost, we require a $500.00 retainer fee which includes: floor plans, 3D drawings, and an accurate quote. The retainer fee is applied to the actual cost of the contract.

How long does this process take?

  • The length of the remodel project is dictated by the requirements to accomplish the job correctly. A basic remodel job is approximately 4-6 weeks in total time. Our tradespeople will be there almost every day. A more detailed remodel project that requires tearing out partial walls, removing old flooring, and updating the electrical and plumbing will increase the time involved. New construction is reflected from the builder finishing each phase of construction.

Can you build any custom cabinets if the manufacture doesn’t offer it?

  • Yes, I can build and design featured pieces of furniture to complete your job. In the past, I have built and designed wood hoods, window seats, fold-up Murphy beds and custom case work.

What are the advantages of working with a kitchen design company versus a large retail store?

  • There is more re individualized attention when working with a kitchen design company. It is easier to work with a smaller business as opposed to a larger company. You are working with a professional in the industry versus someone who has very little experience in this trade.
